Since the beginning of the year 2000, landfill gas emission have been used to generate electricity with two Jenbacher generators currently producing 2MW/annum, enough to supply the needs of 2,000 homes.
The company has also set aside land for the development of paper, wood and soil recycling facilities at the plant. |
