Portable Accomodation
Alternate Accommodation, A new choice for temporary and modular buildings offers both standard solutions and an individual design service, allowing us to meet the complete range of customer requirements. Tailoring the units to the
individual customer means that we can provide the exact configuration and specification. Everything including the number of windows, internal partitions, heaters, power points, wash hand basins and all other services is entirely up to the customer.
Units can be supplied furnished if required from our extensive list of office quality furniture.
Specification
These high quality units offer exceptional security with all external walls constructed from fully welded sheet steel to give a structure with all round protection. The internal walls are insulated to meet building standards and all fire regulations and are finished with white laminate as standard but internal finishes can be fitted to meet the customer's requirements if something more decorative is desired, e.g., plywood internally to allow emulsion or paper finish. Similarly the floor can be finished in a standard vinyl or to a more decorative effect, e.g. carpet or laminate.
Heating and plumbing are quickly and easily connected from a mains supply and units are supplied with electric heaters as standard but as with all else, this can be adapted to meet any other requirement.
The largest standard unit comes with one security door, two 2KW wall mounted heaters, four double sockets, 3 ft strip lights, 4 windows with security shutters and a 7 pint water heater in the kitchen (if included in the design). Internal divisions, number of windows, lights and all other fittings can be added or removed to ensure that the finished unit best fits its purpose.
